SHORT-TERM IMMERSION PROGRAM ABROAD IN SPAIN

SHORT-TERM PROGRAMS TO STUDY ABROAD IN SPAIN FOR A TRIMESTER OR SEMESTER WITH COURSES, ACTIVITIES AND A TOTAL SPANISH IMMERSION
Experience:
This program offers you the chance to study in Spain for a trimester or full semester, attending a private school, surrounded by local students and living with a local family.
This short-term immersion provides excellent results. In addition to improving your level of Spanish, it will motivate you to continue cultivating it in the future.
The great advantage of this program is that if you want to extend its duration once you have started enjoying the experience, you can extend your stay for one more term or even the entire year.
You will live with a local family with whom, in addition to learning Spanish, you will get to know the country's culture first-hand. Most of them live in residential areas, small towns or rural areas where you can live your experience in a quiet and safe environment. These families offer you a “home away from home”, supporting you and welcoming you as a member of the family.
School:
You will attend a private school with the advantages that this entails:

fewer students per class,

subjects offered at different levels of difficulty, (Honors and Advanced Placement),

extracurricular music,
-
fine arts, and sports activities,
-
and Spanish lessons for those students with a more limited level of fluency.
During your stay you will attend class as a listener so you will not be evaluated. This allows you to focus all your attention on understanding the language and communicating, without the burden of having to take exams on specific topics in science, history, etc.
You will, however, receive a certificate of attendance with the list of subjects you have taken during your program, but without grades.
Our schools participating in this program are private schools of high academic quality that have the desire to welcome international students to promote an authentic cultural exchange. They are located in residential areas of safe and quiet cities, from where you can visit large impressive cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Valencia or Bilbao...
Your visa
At SI we will manage obtaining your visa and, in addition, from the moment of your arrival and throughout your stay, you will have the support of a Supervisor who will help you in your adaptation to the school and your host family, and in any other aspect you may need.
Requirements
You must have a medium level of proficiency in the Spanish language, for which we will help you take a language test in order to determine your real level.
You will enjoy school activities with your classmates such as attending dances, parties and excursions, join a club or play in sports.
